Yes. Before the registration process, you will be able to select from a range of housing options. If you do not need housing, you can just choose "No housing" and the housing cost will automatically be deducted from your total price.
Can I choose my housing?
Yes. Most students choose host family housing – not only is it the best housing type if you are looking for a full language immersion, but it is also the cheapest option if you are on a budget. Before the registration process, you will be able to select from a range of alternative housing options, including hostels, hotels and apartments.
Can I start my course and pay later?
No. We need to receive full payment before your course starts. Only after we have received your payment will we be able to process your visa and school acceptance documents.
Can I work while studying?
In general, most student or tourist visas do not allow you to work. In the US, the F-1 student visa restricts work authorization for international students enrolled in language studies. In Canada, the Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) does not provide work authorization. In the UK, the student visitor visa does not allow you to work.
Is it safe to book a course on the Internet?
Yes. That being said, we value your privacy. Your personal data will be absolutely confidential and will be shared with no one else except the language school of your choice. If you choose to pay by credit card, you may submit your credit card information on the telephone or via fax to ensure that your credit card information is protected. You may also choose to pay us by bank transfer. If you live in the US, you may pay by check or money order.Learn more about our privacy policy
What happens after I book a course online?
As soon as you book a course online, you will be sent a confirmation email with all the details of the course. A student advisor will then contact you in one business day to confirm your course availability. Once you've paid all fees, your placement in the course will be confirmed. Acceptable forms of payment are credit card, PayPal, check, money order or bank transfer.
How much in advance should I book my course?
If you are planning to take a course in the summer (July - August), it is best to book at least two months in advance. This depends on the particular school and the region, of course. Even if we receive a registration on very short notice, we try our best to accommodate it - and we do succeed quite often! If you need to apply for a student visa, it is best to book 2 to 3 months in advance.
I have a problem with booking a course
If you encounter any problems while trying to book a course, please contact us and we will help you with the problem within 24 hours.
I haven’t received a booking confirmation
Please check your junk or spam mail folder. Sometimes confirmation emails accidentally end up there. If you still cannot find it, please contact us with your name and email address, and we will be happy to email you another.
Do I need to reconfirm my booking before arrival?
Unless specifically stated in your booking details, or in direct instructions from the school, you do not need to reconfirm your booking before arrival. However, please be sure to forward your flight information to Language International, so we can arrange for airport pick-up and/or notify the school of your arrival date.
Can I change my course or housing after booking?
Language schools are generally flexible with change requests from students, as long as there is availability. Every school has a unique policy, but schools generally do not charge any additional fees for changing your course or housing, unless there is any price difference. If you'd like to make a change, please contact us.
What if my visa is denied? Will I get my money back?
If your visa application is denied, do not worry! Keep a copy of the visa denial letter and send it to us 7 days before your course start date. Language International will refund all your course and housing fees. You will not receive a refund for the express mail fee, housing placement fee, registration or application fee, bank transfer or credit card fee, differences due to currency changes, and any other service charges, as these must be paid for regardless of visa status.
